After helping them construct their consumer database in 2004 I left to help launch my own magazine - Six Degrees, where I managed all aspects of the editorial and sales divisions. Then, I returned to a Tribune paper where I was a music columnist and news writer. I have been published in Rolling Stone, Time, Paste, Mashable, New York Post, USAToday and many, many other outlets.

Volunteer with Paws4Life program where we brought Pit Bull puppies to Lancaster Maximum Security prison to facilitate rehabilitation for homeless puppies as well as death row inmates. The inmates trained the dogs to become ambassadors for the Good K9 Citizenship Program in Los Angeles. I adopted two Pit Bulls from this program, Betty and Murray. Pics upon request.
Volunteer with other organizations to raise funds for disabled pets, specifically Tripawds who lose their limbs to cancer and accidents. The Lab/Corgi mix I adopted from that program is named Jackson. Pics upon request.
I also volunteer with student journalist and writers at national conventions and online.
